Guest guest
Deborah, Because I figured it might be awhile before I could convince DH I " needed " one of those beds, I went to overstock (they are having a free shipping weekend...lol) and got a 3 " " cool " topper (because he sweats horribly). I am hopeful that it will help my cause in the long run...... Our finances took a hit too when I went from full-time work to disability; thankfully, we had started working the Dave Ramsey plan (total money makeover) and despite the fact that I now bring in about 1/2 of what I used to, plus DH got fired from his old job and is in a new one but at their starting salary which is less, we have managed to pay off a tremendous amount of debt. We still have a ways to go, but I am encouraged, you know? Because I don't think, and neither do my providers, chiropractor or reflexologist, that I will EVER be able to go back to a " traditional " 40 hour a week job. I get up in the morning " drag-assing " just to take the kids to school (we got them transferred to a better school so we have to transport them) and sometimes, I come home and nap for a few hours. Then I worry about what has to be done in the house. Right now, DH is redoing our flooring for mine and our daughter's allergies (hers are severe; mine are pretty bad). So my housework has dwindled....lol... Darlene > > The bed topper I got from Overstock .com has helped a lot. It is good quality and just needs a good puff now and again. I will never be able to affort one of those temperpedic beds I am pretty sure. I am afraid I have dragged my family down into a deep well with my sickness. > >
