No, it is the strangest thing. He has growth of scar tissue in the

urethra...the part that leads from the bladder to drain the urine. They never

figured out what the original injury was from. He just keeps growing scar

tissue that blocks the urinary tract. They are going to graft some tissue from

the inside of the jaw into the urethra this time.

surgery. I used to have chronic urinary problem but finally got it all cleared

up and now I take cranberry extract pills twice a day just to keep anything from

getting started. Maybe they would help your DH? Don't know what his particular

problem is, but just hoping for a good outcome to the operation.
