Guest guest
Wow. what a winter mess. That is the worst thing about snow. It is beautiful until it starts melting. I know what you mean. The weather here has warmed up to near 80 degrees the last couple of days. I just wish it would stay one way for a while. I agree that the warmer weather kicks the germs and allergies in big time. Of course, we have so many pine trees around here too.... I don't think that helps my allergies either. I am a little better with the depression thing. Just dreading the rest of this week and next week. Thanks, love and hugs, Debra V. Dave and Jeanne wrote: Hi Debra. I was more down than usual yesterday today, and very tired as well. I'm blaming mine on the weather. We are having a winter thaw, so very foggy, then cloudy, absolutely NO sun, and the warmer weather seems to kick in all the germs and sinus problems to boot. This morning, I seem a bit better in spite of the weather. We live on a culdesac, and the whole thing is flooded right now as we've had some thunderstorms roll through. There is a big mountain of dirty snow in the middle, because that's where the plows put the snow, and it's surrounded now by water. I'm thinking the drainage things might be blocked by unmelted snow or something. It's just wierd. Try not to stress ahead of time about Friday. Remember, one day at a time. Hope your spirits are a bit better today. Jeanne in WI >I have just been kind of depressed today. I know I forgot to take my >zoloft yesterday, so that might have something to do with it. Guest guest
Hi Debra, Try not to stress ahead of time it will just make you feel worse trust me. I have four daughters and in July my husband had his first stroke, it scared me to death what was going to happen next and I worried myself sick. In Aug. he had his second and third stroke and we almost lost him on the third stroke, believe me every thought of being a single parent at 42, not working and in the pain that I am in scared the life out of me. Thank god my husband made it, he is now disabled but, he is alive. Everyday when I get up I am in alot of pain but, I have to get the three older girls up and off to school (they take a bus) and then get the youngest up and get her ready and walk her to school (our car is broke down right now)by the time I get home I am in tears because my hips, shoulder and lower back are totally in flamed but, then I have to get my husband up check his sugar make sure he takes his meds. and then I die for awhile meaning either toss and turnon the couch or in the computer chair or try and lay down but that usually doesn't work do to the rls and the insomnia on top of the fibro pains. So keep you head up try not to stress ahead of time and my prayers go out for your husband. ((((HUGS))))) Tina > Hi Debra. I was more down than usual yesterday today, and very tired as > well. Guest guest
Tina, I can identify with a lot of this as my husband had his first stroke and it killed him. (in 3 1/2 weeks) Fortunately my children were all grown and our youngest was in her third year of medical school. Don't know what I would have done if I had been left with dependent children. I will keep my fingers crossed that your husband pulls out of this and has NO more problems. I was 62 and not working when all this happened but I didn't have fibro then. (1989) Sounds as if your husband has diabetes also. Margaret B > Hi Debra, > > Try not to stress ahead of time it will just make you feel worse > trust me.
