Question ref: pain meds

I had a shoulder injury and was on Lortab for nearly two years. After

surgery for the shoulder, I was agian given Lortab. I have developed

an allergy to Lortab and Percocet. Also, Ultram gives me headaches. I

have noticed that Aleve has helped with minor pain days. I'm not sure

what other options I have for prescription drugs. My family doc is

sending me to a pain clinic for injections in my lower back (where my

pain has been concentrated and severe for the last couple months).

Anyone have suggestions on what to ask for or try?
