Hi Darlene and Debbie,

I had no idea that green tea was bad for you. I drink it at least twice a

day. I really like it and hate to hear it's bad for me. I haven't had any

bladder/UTI problems. I wonder if they are only bad for you if you have

problems in that area? I'll have to check into that or someone else could if

they know where to look, because I hate to give it up.

Take care,

Marti

Didn't know natural diurectics like tea are bad to our bladder. Then

wouldn't a rx diurectic be bad, too? I drink mostly green tea all day.

Do drink lots of water all day, too.

Thanks Jennie,

I happy to hear that, because I would hate to give it up.

I believe green tea is only bad for kidneys if you have a kidney

mother was told not to drink it but only for that reason.

I think it's mainly black, caffienated tea that's bad. Will have to

check the info my urologist gave me and see if green tea is bad.

Hi Marti,

This article from the Green Tea Workshop has some good information.

Other sites had similar information about green tea benefits.

Hope this site will help:

You're most welcome Marti!

We drink Lipton's Diet mixed berry tea in the mornings and Lipton's

brewed tea I make in the afternoon/evening. Have tried Lipton's Diet

citrus tea but it was hard on my empty stomach.
