Well until 3 weeks ago I would have pain here and there same with the fatigue.Again thought it was my iron. Now I am in alot pain and its hard to stay awake most days. I have no trouble falling asleep but I wake up about 3x a night. When I do wake up in the morning after falling back to sleep again,I feel like I been hit by a truck!!!! Guest guest
Hi . I am Jerilyn joined about 5 mmonths ago also when I was just diagnosed. Welcome. You will find people are very supporive here. I also have used the phrase " hit by a mack truck " cuz thats exactly what it feels like. I always had severe pain in my legs since having FM, so I would also say it felt like I ran a ten mile marathon. And the fatigue was horrific. I am on Cymbalta for my pain and Lunesta for my insomnia. I have felt sooo... much better since taking the Cymbalta. What have you been prescribed? You will see alot of people take a variety of different drugs here, because obviously everyone reacts differently meds. And some people have it worse than others. I hope you find the right meds for you. Sometimes it can be a lengthy process to find the right thing. Or you can be lucky like me and find the right drug right away, which is what I hope is the case. Good luck and I am sorry you have been dx with this, but keep your head up and know it can be very manageable.
