Guest guest
Hi ! Welcome to the group! I have my fingers crossed for you! My work has an exclusion as well. I didn't even attempt to apply or fight them. I just paid for the surgery myself. Well...I borrowed from my mom. LOL! I owe her half of it back. I also love your quote! :-) W 380/316/160 ~~ wrote: > Hello, > Thank you for accepting me as a member here. > > I'll introduce myself. I went thru the appeals process on my own and then I ended up hiring an attorney that " specializes " in winning exclusion cases. All I got was $750.00 lighter and my legal " file " 2 sheets of paper stating my information I gave them and a hand written note to call " the insurance company " . Needless to say, that was an expensive lesson. > > But now, the sun has shone through the clouds, and my husbands company has changed insurance companies. > We now have BCBS Community Blue, PPO it goes into effect September 1, 2006 > . > They say they do cover this surgery. Guest guest
, Wow congratulations on your family's luck with the insurance change. I know that some here have self paid or have had equal insurance struggles. I can't help admire their and your persistence and dedication to changing your lives for the better. Hey you're in Michigan too! I'm in Grand Rapids. There's quite a few from other parts of the state here too, NW, Lansing and, of course, D- troit. We should all meet at a central location, maybe a park in Lansing, and have a picnic or something. We could all go for a nice walk through the city too. Unless someone would like to meet me in Grand Rapids, I'd be happy to host any and all who can make the drive, especially from the east side. Be sure to let us know when you have a set date for your surgery. If you'd like some fellow Michiganders might be able to come down to support you around your surgery time. Guest guest
Hi, I'm Ruthie in NE Ohio. I am a fibromyalgia sufferer like the rest of you. I'm here hoping to learn some new ways to cope and maybe even treat this affliction.
