Guest guest
Hi Melody. I am one of the new ones. Thanks for the welcome. I live in Waxahachie. How close are you to there? I work full time and go to school full time (that is about all I do). I am divorced w/two boys grown (18 & 22) who just do not understand. I just got my " official " diagnosis yesterday, but have been battling this for about 15 years (just did not know what it was). I know that this pain I live with daily that has gotten worse the last 3-4 years was a major part in my last divorce (been married 3 times). I go to school online (only way I can do that), as I cannot sit in a classroom 3 hours at a time. I LOVE online classes. I think I will like this group of folks- it will be real nice to be able to vent and have others to know exactly what I am going through when I say I hurt all over. My boys do not have a clue and my oldest is not even interested in learning (its all in mom's head) the youngest will at least listen as he broke his back playing football and understands the pain to a degree. Hope you are doing well today! Christi Randall www.singingwomenoftexas.com Peeking in Just saying HI! I keep falling horribly behind, so then I just skim and delete, and gradually have become an invisible member once again. Sorry about that. I pondered leaving because of my inactivity but I'll do my best to stick it out as long as possible. WELCOME aboard to all the new members!!!! I'm Melody, a born and raised Texan living in a small town thirty miles south of Dallas. I'm 36, married to Jim for ten years. We have four cats, two dogs, two rats, one hamster, a bird and a fish. I sell Avon part time to help, but otherwise haven't worked a full time job since 2000 due to fibro. I've dealt with fibro since 1995 but have gotten to a point where I manage it as best as possible and take things one day at a time. Despite the pain, I am a happy, life-loving person. I did go through the mourning and depression when the symptoms first started, and that depression nearly took my life. But by the time I quit my job and took a spiritual journey, I learned what a blessing life is for me personally. I see others who go through much worse, so my blessings are counted daily. So even if I suffer with the rest of you, I can bring some love and 'Sunshine' (my nick name) into your lives anytime you should need some support. I'm terrible about getting behind but if you need a friend, email me privately ANY time and we'll talk! And I, too, have bad days where I might need a shoulder, but when I'm in flare pain I don't usually get on the computer as much. I'm on myspace www.myspace.com/melodyanna yahoo360 - http://360.yahoo.com*/sunshine_angel54* Yahoo messenger - let me know in advance if you add me - user is sunshine_angel54 Love and light! Guest guest
I'm in Palmer, approx ten miles from Waxahachie. Palmer doesn't have much so I go to Waxahachie for shopping and my chiro. I was just there today to go to CVS. Is your doctor local? My current doc is still in Arlington but I was curious who locally is 'understanding' about this fibro thing. Guest guest
I would love her info! A woman doc too, that's even better. She probably isn't on my insurance, but it's worth a shot. Guest guest
I understand Melody. All I CAN possibly do anymore is skim here. It is impossible for me to keep up. I don't mind though. I just wish I had more time and energy to really keep up with everyone here. I believe alot of us are this situation. It does not mean I don't treasure this group or all the members.... I do. I appreciate you being here. love and hugs, Debra V. Melody wrote: Just saying HI! Guest guest
Hon I think you post the most of all. I wish I had your energy sometimes. And I consider myself a pretty energetic person, but sitting at the computer too long triggers flare type pain for me sometimes. debra van ness wrote: > I understand Melody.
