Update on my doctor visit...

My labs just came back & all were normal....

They are referring me to a PT who specializes in Fibro....but they are not

prescribing me any

meds!!!! I am in so much pain now. She says she wants me to try & manage it

without drugs!

WTF??? That is easy for someone else to say.

Needless to say, I called my ortho back & they referred me to a Dr. who

specializes in Fibro,

but I can't get in until Feb 6th. So I guess I'll call back & get an

appointment with my ortho

again & going to the chiro today.

I just really need to get on some meds so I can control this & maybe even have

some energy.

And most of my soreness is from riding my horse the other day....but I had to

for my mental

health. But...I had to ride my pleasure horse...I have not been able to ride my

show horse &

that upsets me. My horses are my life.

Hi Amy,

I just went to my first PT vist today and it hurt at first but when he was

done working with me for a short while on my upper back and I came home my upper

back shoulders and hands felt better then they have in years. I was able to cook

a meal for the first time in weeks I can't wait to go back next week. I'm still

in pain but I can handle it.

My primary Dr. referred me to a pain specialist and he is who gives me my pain

meds. maybe one of your docs would do that for you.

I know how you feel about the waiting though. It was hard to wait until the

point someone finally listens to you and you get the help you need. Doctors can

be such a pain.
