Guest guest
Hi, I get hot spells with night sweats when I'm have a sarcoidosis flare. But I do have bronchial asthma, and have pneumonia. I make sure the fan is pointed away from me since I'm sick. But usually when I use it it is because I'm hot at night I can be cool all day, but I'm hot at night. Go figure. It's pretty common for people with lung conditions to feel they cannot get enough air in. I recall a respiratory therapist posting on a lung group advising us to run a fan to help with the sensation of not having enough oxygen. Not sure if those of you running fans have asthma or COPD or other breathing disorders. Just a thought. And yes, I also run a fan to help with the sensation of suffocating and not being able to get enough air; but I have interstitial lung disease, so I really do have trouble getting enough oxygen in. girlsaylor --------------------------------- Never miss a thing.
