That is interesting. I wonder what lead the doctor to say this?

Do you know if they tested your son for arsenic? Or is something

in the situation would point to that? Just curious. I think it

is really great if they tested him for arsenic, but a bit

unusual (and enlightened) on their part.

See Dana's metals page:

I think so. I do not feel certain about the specific relationship

between arsenic and seizures, but I think there is clearly a

relationship between autism and metals. I think there is

also with seizures and metals, but I have less knowledge about

that.

Alpha lipoic acid gets rid of arsenic. You can read a brief

summary of how to use it, here:

/files/Andy_dose_sched

It also removes mercury.

I'm not great with recommending supplements, so I will leave this

for someone else to comment on. However, you may want to consider

whether the other kids are also toxic with arsenic or other metals.

You might want to test any or all of them (including the one who

you were told had arsenic.)

Thanks for your help Andy. I appreciate it very much. Is there files that

help with the correct doses for each child? Thanks again, Sharon

Suggestions:

1. chelation with alpha lipoic acid on the 3-4 hour protocol removes

arsenic.

2. get all your children's medical records and figure out what led the

doc to say arsenic.

3. Hydrogenated fat exclusion!

4. Try inositol instead of zoloft.

5. Try vitamin A instead of risperdal.

6. Try the general vitamin C + B complex + magnesium + milk thistle 3

or 4 times a day approach we discuss here, and also vitamin E daily.

Maybe you would like to read the ANDY_INDEX file in the Files section of this

list. There is a lot of information there, including supplements.

Also, maybe you should consider chelation with ALA (lipoic acid). It chelates

arsenic.

Do you happen to know if their thyroid is functioning normally? or even their

adrenals...

There are many many supplements you can try. Do they take right now anything?

Even if you try a supplement that will not work for them (or for one of them)

there is no damage you can do, so you shouldn't be afraid to try them. Just for

a

few days... it should be enough to see if something will help or not.

Maybe magnesium would be a good start.

Also, did you ever try epsom salt baths?

You can check sources from my page

Generally associated with phenols

http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm

Can also be yeast

Consider phenols for issues related to those meds.
