Guest guest
Melody, you are pretty. What nice pics. I sure would like to go out with my d/h once in a while again. You made me remember the days I use to. LOL. Now it is because of babysitting issues, money, and both of us being sick alot of the time. love ya, Debra V. I'm 5'5 " , even if I may appear tall because of the long monkey legs/arms I 'inherited' from my Daddy. I currently dye my hair dark brown, but I've been light brown, blonde, red, medium brown, etc. I like this current color. : Me with hubby: http://www.flickr.com/photos/melodyanna/2219255152/ Me two weeks ago: http://www.flickr.com/photos/melodyanna/2219255148/ Me on my birthday this last December - hence the bows: http://www.flickr.com/photos/melodyanna/2219255132/ >
Guest guest
We're your typical 'old married couple' in that we've stayed home a LOT over the years. It's just us and the 11 fur babies, no children. Before we moved to small town Texas, we lived in Arlington and then Fort Worth. This was an apartment complex and we had quite the social life, we also went out every weekend without fail. But moving out here was a big step to 'quiet' hood, so to speak. Just this last year I got back into church (after 28 years of not going at all) and got closer to my neighbors. We still don't get out much, by choice. We're total homebodies. Love to spend friday and saturday nights watching movies in front of a good fire, with my sweetie and all the furbabies on our laps and at our feet. But it was fun two weeks ago to celebrate our neighbors birthday at that bar. I was worried the fibro would flare the next day but I felt so good the next day! Laughing and dancing seemed to kick off some good stuff in me that had me feeling fantastic! I cleaned my house the next day. I do skip a lot of things, like the church garage sale last Saturday. Hubby got up and went to help, but I stayed in bed. Luckily our neighbors and friends understand. I just hate when they feel sorry for me, it makes me feel funny. debra van ness wrote: > Melody, you are pretty. What nice pics. I sure would like to go out with my d/h once in a while again. Guest guest
OH and I meant to say thank you! It truly means a lot to get such a wonderful compliment! I was the ugly duckling growing up, the other school kids used to call me ugly all through my school years. I was 'that dorky skinny girl' never really considered pretty and never felt very pretty at all. Then I married the first guy that came along and paid any attention to me, and he was abusive. But I married him anyway because I felt like nobody else would want me or think i was pretty. But yes I did leave in summer of 1993, the marriage was short lived, and I swore off men forever. Met Jim in 1995 (he came along JUST in time for the fibro to kick in, lol!), we became a couple in 1996, married 1997 and we're living happily ever after. I think I'm beautiful in his eyes, but I don't really think I'm one to turn heads in the public. I never really have been, but I don't need to be since I'm happy and in loooove. But thank you for the compliment! Living in pain can make one feel kind of hideous some days. I don't hear compliments like that very often from anyone besides the sweetie. It truly means the world and I cannot stress that enough! (((HUGS))) I do feel beautiful in spirit every single day, for the record. debra van ness wrote: > Melody, you are pretty. What nice pics.
