Only a few weeks ago I would have been down on you like a rabid

doberman for saying anything that sounded like supportive of AA or *A

(its derivatives). I dont do that now, not least because I think it

inappropriate - this list ought not to demand total rejection of *A

from everyone, especially newcomers, which is just one reason why I

said nothing. Another is that *A still holds a big pull for me and I

might yet return to it at some level, for better or worse. However, I

have a lot of sympathy with what has said, and I also think he

has been extremely articulate and perceptive in the way he said it.

To acknowledge some benefit for oneself from *A is I think reasonable

- but I think one ought to always bear in mind that this group is for

those who " have left, wish to leave, or are seriously questioning " *A

when one post to it.

Thank you for your comment. My position has been just that. That I

fit in the group you just described. I have my criticisms as well of

A.A or I would not be here. I have for the most part just shared my

experience and my interpretations of that experience.

although

articulate has not shared experience. He has shared mostly opinions

and judgements. Thats why we have been going back and forth with this

crap. I can't see how anyone could debate with me what has been my

experience. Its mine and true for me.
