Guest guest
Girlsaylor I want to wish you the best with the catheter procedure. I had it done a few years ago and had no trouble with it. They offered me a new experimental procedure in which some substance was put on the entry point and I was able to get up and walk around in about 1 hour and left the hospital soon after. Normally you must stay for several hours lying down to overnight. I realize you may have to have your arteries cleaned out also though. When mine was done the cardiologist said that he hoped his arteries looked as good as mine did when he was my age. (around 78 or 79 then) I believe everything will go well. Guest guest
girlsaylor: Good luck on your heart cath. As far as cleaning out arteries is concerned, I had to have my cartoid artery cleaned out in 2007, I was in the hospital over night. I went home the next morning. I did take off work for three weeks. I realize cartoid artery is not the same as coronary arteries but I hope things will improve for you. Guest guest
Wow , that's scarey. Glad you fooled the docs too. Guess they don't know everything, but then we knew that here on this group. Thanks for the support. girlsaylor > > > I've had the same procedure and it revealed that I have restrctive cardiomyopathy which means my heart is shrinkink and not healthy enough to have any type procedure.
