Taking in the correct Omega 3/6/9 oils such as borage, flax, and fish oil makes a huge difference and balances out your skin. For new members, these oils can help or heal completely ocular rosacea and dry eyes. I sure wish it was this easy.....For those who have tried all of these oils and still the texture of your skin has that orange peel look consider microdermabrasion treatments. There is a new Salt Peel that is even less abrasive than micro and gives great results. I have had 12 microdermabrasion treatments and 2 Salt Peels. The difference in the texture of my skin is amazing. It didnt aggravate the rosacea at all. Many derms do Photoderm and microdermabrasion together now. It works....and you dont have to wait months to see results. Bill

It takes about three months of daily oil intake to see the full results. Also switch to a good quality virgin olive oil and use that daily instead of butter and salad dressings. >> I use emu oil though. On spagetti and toast instead of butter. In salad dressing it's thicker than the olive oil. I take the gel-cps too. Done an incrediable job lubricating my skin from the inside out! Guest guest
I have oily skin too, here is how I handle the situation: I do not use a moisturizer: that is only for people with dry skin. I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. I have easily irritated skin that is prone to break out, and this one really works for me. It has 2% salicylic acid. It really helps reduce the oil, keep clogged pores open and has reduced the appearance of my pores. After washing, my face occasionally feels a bit dry, but my skin soon takes care of itself on that count. After that, I apply metrogel. Then, skip the makeup. I use Clinique Super City Block tinted 25 SPF sunscreen with titanium dioxide. For most occasions, this is my choice. Even in winter, that provides all the moisturizer I need. When I really want to look a little more " made up " I use the Clinique Almost Makeup instead of the City Block. This has a bit more coverage, comes in several shades and has an spf of 15, due to titanium dioxide. I follow either with Arden Flawless Finish Dual Perfection Makeup (this is a powder that can be applied with a wet or dry sponge: I use it as a dry powder.) At the end of a long, hot day, I am a bit oily and the stuff is not as nice looking as when I started the day, but it sure beats what foundation over a moisturizer looks like. I hope this helps. Try the Neutrogena (and skip the moisturizer). Neutrogena is easy to find and inexpensive and may help reduce the appearance of your pores. They also make a milder salicylic acid face wash called Adult Face Wash (or something close to that) and it is a bit milder. Make sure you use a super-good moisturizer especially designed for the eye area. I use Avon's undereye cream for dark circles. Clinique has a really good moisturizer: the one aimed at undereye circles. (I'm trying the Avon in an attempt to banish the undereye circles; no improvement with the Clinique undereye circle cream, but it was an excellent moisturizer, better than the Avon brand. Sorry, I can't remember what it was called.) Good luck,
