Guest guest
I get back spasms a lot and I have not really found much to help. I have been on flexiril pending back surgery and that has helped some. If it gets real back I will take a flexiril and a ultram together. A warm bath/shower, heating pad are all that I have found to help. I know that was not much help, but you are not alone. Good luck. I hope you get to feeling better as the spasms are the pits. Christi Randall www.singingwomenoftexas.com Muscle Spasms Hey gang, I am wondering if anyone suffers with muscle spasms. I am in the midst of seeing a new rheumatologist and I am in severe pain. MY spine is hurting bad and I mean bad. My pcp gave me a steroid shot, but that only lasted a couple of days ad the pain is worse. I have tramadol and a muscle relaxer and Im on the heating pad. Any suggestions? The pain is so bad I get dizzy and sick at the stomach. Thank you for any help you can give. Shundra 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
I do have muscle spasms. I probably have more than I realize. The ones I can really see are the ones that just make my skin jump. They are random. They are anywhere at anytime. I suppose I must have them in my back and neck too. Now that hurts alot. I think that is why my neck and upper back hurt so much... probably from an almost constant spasm. I take flexeril. I really cannot tell if it helps much though. I don't know what else to telll you to do unfortunately. I guess there are better muscle relaxers out there than flexeril. Hope you feel better honey, hugs, Debra V. ladyriddick01 wrote: Hey gang, I am wondering if anyone suffers with muscle spasms. Guest guest
I was the same way yesterday. That is usually what I do, take 2 tramadol, 2 extra strength Tylenol, my muscle relaxer, and get into bed. Yesterday, I found 2 hydrocodone leftover from 2005 and took those. They knocked me out so I slept a large chunk of the day, and am somewhat better today. I hope you are doing better as well.
