Guest guest
, I'm sorry I didn't clarify.....lol....when I say I am doing any kind of running, it's my errands and I use my van. I haven't run since oh about 1981 and plan to keep it that way....lolol..... I hate bronchitis. I am a chronic sufferer of it and can literally " feel " the change in my lungs (if that makes sense) so now get to the doc before it gets horrid. The downside is it causes my asthma fits.....I'm just a little ol' mess...... Darlene > > > > > Darlene, why, if I may ask, are you running while you have > bronchitis??? Guest guest
That kind of running certainly makes more sense! I know how I sick I was even though it has been years since I had an bout of bronchitis, it was certainly one of the worst times. One winter I was so bad on Christmas day that my mother and sisters went to church without me and by the time they got home I had been crawling from my bed to bathroom to throw up! Fortunately, back in the '50's, our family doctor came out on a Sunday, game me a shot for the bronchitis and another to take to care of the upset stomach. So, I sleep Christmas day for the whole day! And don't know if it was because I was taking a bookkeeping class that year and had a practice set due in January, so I missed 6 weeks of school (would spend the days up and get so tried by the end of the day, I was home in bed the next day) Then I had another bout in college and only one or 2 since then -- now I have to knock on wood so I won't jinx myself! - -- In Fibromyalgia_Support_Group , " ddean228 " wrote: > > , I'm sorry I didn't clarify.....lol....when I say I am doing any > kind of running, it's my errands and I use my van. Guest guest
, Nothing about all this coughing is fun - it hurts my head, my chest and my throat! I always end up nearly losing my voice, which means that as far as singing specials at church go, well, I usually DON'T thru the winter! No housecalls here, although bless their hearts, my PCP DOES hear me when I say that some of the meds make me nauseous so I generally have phenergan in the house. Because I'm so immuno- suppressed from all the other ailments besides the fibro, well, when they give me antibiotics, they aren't the easy ones, they are the ones that kick your butt! I may end up going back today; I'm not feeling better and in fact, feel worse. Another shot is coming, I sense it!
