Guest guest
I just thought I'd let you know of the good news we received yesterday. Yesterday I went in for more blood work and an ultrasound. On the ultrasound we saw the baby's heartbeat, and the Dr said that the ultra looks good. I'm still bleeding so they put me on progesterone suppositories for the next 6 wks. This is supposed to work like the progesterone that your body naturally produces to sustain the pregnancy and to help the placenta attach to the uterine wall. The OB also recommended that I wean just to further help me along. That is the only part that I'm a little sad about, but she is 20 mo old and I don't feel compelled to prove a point and take any added risks with this many problems, According to the ultra, they only put me at 6 weeks PG instead of 8. My periods are pretty irregular, so I must of conceived a little further along than we first expected- now we're shooting for Aug 20--wow! I'm just so grateful to have seen that little heartbeat which I consider nothing short of a miracle! Thank-you all for all your thoughts and prayers, and for you're continued prayers since we're not entirely " out of the woods yet " ! I'll keep you posted. S.
