Guest guest
Have you ever tried the gel insoles?? I stopped wearing dress shoes a long time ago, as I am flat footed and they caused me a lot of pain. K -- Re: Comfortable shoes I have a question for all these ladies that wear the crocs and say they are so comfortable...what type of dress shoes do you wear that would be comfortable for work? I work in an office and have to wear dress shoes, thank goodness they can still be flats! We are not allowed to wear tennis shoes even on Fridays with our blue jeans. Any suggestions will be welcome. Thanks lisa n. 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe 4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Hi N, I have to wear Merrells. I've tried almost every type of shoe there is trying to find some that don't add to the pain in my ankles, shins and hips. I have some nice looking easy spirit shoes that I wear if I'm out but not going to be on my feet too long. The Merrells come in clunky looking shoes, but also I have found some great looking clogs that I can wear with anything and some " loafer " or " ballet " looking shoes that are dressy. I found them both at LLBean, on line. I'm not sure if they are in the catalog. The store has them, but there aren't many of those. They are expensive but they wear forever. I've had to give up on having scads of great looking shoes to wear with outfits because of the need for comfort. These shoes come in black, brown and camel. Just enough colors to match most anything, but no fun ones. Also at LLBean you can return anything, anytime, for any reason - even wear and tear - so the investment is a good one. Hope you find what you need, Marti Mystic wrote: I have a question for all these ladies that wear the crocs and say they are so comfortable...what type of dress shoes do you wear that would be comfortable for work?
