Smoking cessation medicine

This is a question that is completely off the subject of fibro but I

am curious if anyone else in the group has tried the new drug Chantix

in an attempt to stop smoking? I started while we were on vacation

and I still do not know if a reaction I the day following the one when

I was to increase the dosage from one pill a day to one in the evening

and one in the morning??? The day after I took the second pill, I

spent the entire day in the hotel room as I was very much afraid to be

very far from the commode! I did not see anywhere that one of the

side effects could be severe diaherra, but that was only change that I

know of that could have caused such a reaction.

I will say that I am smoking less than I was before I started the

drug --- I quit taking it because I didn't know if it was the cause,

but it certainly helped as long as I was taking one a day.
