I was suppose to start lyrica mid Dec. but told my new RH that I wanted to hold

off til after the holidays. For those of you that are taking it, would you

suggest that I lay low and not drive? Or any advice? I also take care of my 85

yr. old mother with alzheimers that I need to drive to for appts. as well as

some of my own coming up. I'm just not sure how bad the side effects can be in

the beginning. But I sure would like to take something for the pain. Having a

bad day. It's really cold and I went grocery shopping, the groceries are still

on the counter, except the frig stuff, waiting to be put away. I HURT!

positive info. Since I just started it, it is good to know that it can work. I

am taking 75 mg only at night for the first week and tomorrow, I am going to try

one in the morning to bring me up to the beginning dosage of 150. I have been

doing 1 per day because of the loopy side effects I had when I first started

with 2 a day.
