Guest guest
do you ever here people say to you " I have fibromyalgia it isn't bad. " or " I have fibromyalgia and you don't see me complaining " or " deal with it I do " and you know that they don't have it at all. cause they are running and playing and laughing. with plenty of energy. (I need what they have if they really have it) People who only say that they have it to get the drugs, the sympathy or something else. .My mother-in-law is in good health and told me that everyone has Fibromyalgia when they are in pain. it is just another name for being in pain and it is not a disease in its self. and that I should get over it..... GGGRRRRR...... what is going on is everyone got a few screws loose I read the postings in here about the Charlie horse .... I don't want this, and I am sure you all don't either.I never asked for it. I am sure that you all understand cause it sounds like you all have the same thing that I do.... It makes me cranky and not understanding to others when they try to belittle me or what I have to go threw.. I want to cry.. Adela
Guest guest
As I have said.... this is the most emotionally painful disease anyone could have. I have never heard of an illness except this one that someone has to deal with in such disbelief of others. It Sucks! The only people that really know what it is like are the ones that DO have it. I know a woman at work who has it and she is just dumbfounded that I need anything stronger for pain than Tramadol. Well, I am here to say that this thing progresses and someday she will likely be to the point I am. love and hugs, Debra V. Guest guest
I do know that this 'thing' is different in every individual. I know some who have it so debilitating they cannot get up out of a wheel chair or barely get off the couch. I know some who have it with less intensity and they can work a full time job. I know some like me who haven't worked in a while (since 2000) but there are many things we CAN do, but it just takes us more time and 'baby steps' when doing them. I know some who need hard core pain meds, and some who don't need any at all. We all deal differently and some seem to have a worse case or a lesser case, even if it doesn't feel lesser when we flare. So it's hard to say if some have it with less intensity. I know I'm in miserable pain today, but a week ago I felt good, two weeks ago I went dancing. > do you ever here people say to you " I have fibromyalgia it isn't bad.
