Guest guest
Well It's good that you are going to live, Angie. It's also good that all your vitals are where they should be. I'm sorry you are in such pain, first from the fall and then the migraine. I'm glad that the tingling wasn't something more serious. When my arms and hands were tingling and then wouldn't hold onto anything and I kept dropping things (kind of redundant I know) I had 2 ruptured discs in my cervical spine, c1 and c2 and I had to have an operation to correct it. I'm glad you're not having to go that route. Imitrex made all my bodily systems go hyper and drove me crazy (didn't have far to go). It was almost as bad as the migraine, but not quite. I used to take it in the shot form when it was first introduced. It would get rid of the migraine quickly, but left me with my adrenalin and everything else pumping. I hope you are better soon. She said the migraine and/or Imitrex could have triggered the episode. Some of the trigger points were also impact points from the fall; so the fall may have been the initial trigger. She advised not taking the Imitrex unless I really must; and put me on Soma; to be taken for a while and then as needed. Soma is what the gp put me on after the fall, but I'd stopped taking it (samples) right before the migraine started. As for what is triggering the migraines, dunno. I was going to ask my gp for something different from the Imitrex anyway because it makes me feel so weird. So looks like I'm gonna live. Just more pains to deal with. Guest guest
I just realized that if I get your message on the other site it comes through on larger print so I'll do it that way next time. Yay I could see it. Marti Angie wrote: BP and other vitals were good. Dr. determined it is myofacial pain. She located about a dozen " trigger points " .
