Guest guest
I honestly don't know if Fibro itself is " real " . What defines that? The pain is real. The symptoms are there. All these patients can't be faking it. I don't really care what they call it. Even if it meant some serious mental reconditioning - its something that needs to be treated. Right? Guest guest
Well I think some doctors thought that our depression was causing physically painful symptoms. In some cases that may be true, but I shoot that theory out of the water because my depression has been way long gone for ten years now yet I hurt like heck! I'm a happy person, anyone can tell you that. I see the glass half full, live by the power of positive thinking. I even tried 'mind over matter' with this thing saying I didn't believe it existed. But it's still there, so it's not all in our minds and heads. Unless that whole brain signal theory is true - where they think our brains aren't blocking pain the way a normal person does? Needless to say, what we feel is real. It's the cause that nobody can figure out. Angie wrote: > I honestly don't know if Fibro itself is " real " . What defines that? The pain is real.
