Guest guest
I've lost weight while on Cymbalta. It's the best depression med I've taken. It seems to temper the extremes. I get depressed but not usually as bad as I can. I'm going through a lot right now; and I think the Cymbalta is the only thing that has kept me from completely losing it. My doctor just switched me to Cymbalta because I was gaining too much weight on Lyrica. 8 lbs in one month! The Lyrica really helped my pain. I have been reading testimonies from patients on websites taking or who have taken Cymbalta and it scares me too death! I trust all of you to give me your honest opinions regarding Cymbalta. I will not start it until I know your experiences. I have heard that several on here have lost weight on Cymbalta. Has anyone gained more? What about other side affects experienced? Thanks! Guest guest
Theresa, I have been on Cymbalta for 5 months, I have lost some weight. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. It has helped me so much, I don't hate people anymore, no one is threatening to kill me and I haven't hurt anyone lately. My mouth stills overloads occasionally but that is because I haved lived long enough to state my opinion. I love it, my family really loves it more!!!LOL It also seems to help with the pain in my back. I always feel like I have been hit my a mack truck but I seem to feel better. Good Luck an x Tn gal. Guest guest
I love my Cymbalta. It handles my depression and helps some with my energy level. My dosage was increased a couple months ago though because 60 mg. wasn't enough for me anymore. The only side effect is some initial tiredness that passes after your system adjusts. It took me about 2 weeks with each dosage increase to lose the extra tiredness and feel the depression improve. I hope it works well for you. Sorry to hear about the Lyrica. Guest guest
Does the Cymbalta help your pain? I have mild pain so far but no depression. I am being started on 30 mg /day for one week then 60 /day for one week, then 60 2x /day. Does this sound right? Thanks, Theresa djgraves9497@... wrote: I love my Cymbalta.
