Guest guest
I so understand your deal with doctors...I also hate going with a passion. I only go nowadays cause I have to to get my high blood pressure meds. And such. -- Re: Teeth Question....OH I CAN RELATE Boy, here's one I can DEFINITELY RELATE TO. Since my last child was born I have had severe deterioration of my teeth. That was nine years ago. I, in fact, still had my wisdom teeth in relatively decent condition until just before my youngest was born. Since I was six months in, my teeth slowly but surely have crumbled, especially those in the back of my mouth. In all honesty, I've had problems with my mouth for twenty years or more. I was born with a super high concentration of flouride due to the area where I was born, just outside Fort Hood, Texas 1970. The dentist I had as a child warned my parents that my teeth would suffer as a result of that. They have, I wore braces, and boxcars, which some people know are those horrid rubber bands, the combination ruined my jaw, giving me TMJ for the rest of eternity and also ensured the deterioration of my teeth and jaw. People wonder why I despise doctors and consider the dentist's office to be a torture chamber dressed in silver and white. Imagine if you will, ten years of severe deterioration. I saw a dentist two years ago next month, they wanted me to go to a periodontist to get my gums worked on. I can't, I suffer a serious problem with surface blood vessels in my mouth, one I inherited from my grandmother. The procedure they were discussing, in the periodontist's office, almost caused my eighty year old grandmother to bleed to death after having only the primary treatment managed. I bled like a stuck pig after their assessment exam for nearly an entire day. I didn't bother to go back. Not that I could have afforded the bill, in the first place. Personally, I'll let my teeth rot out of my mouth before trying that one again. A. Guest guest
went to dentist other day cause mouth hurting need 4 teeth pulled 1 cavities filled and a partial on top and bridge on botton and they gave me a discount over the little bit that my insurance pays and it is still over seven thousand dollars. They asked me if I want implants instead. LOL they are 3000 dollars a piece for the 5 or 6 I would need. Anyone have the winning lotto numbers, I should have been a dentist. I think they are much more well paid then reg. docs. and of course I am just a nurse with ok pay I guess.Much less since been ill. Jodi M. wrote: Boy, here's one I can DEFINITELY RELATE TO. Guest guest
, I'd like to get dentures but my dentist doesn't. My teeth just break more and more. I'm at the point I just want to get rid of them. JudyMer ---- wrote: > I ended up getting false teeth. Now went I bite down hard in my sleep I just take my teeth out. My snoring is awful per family. Is all this from fibro? I don't feel like the real me any more. I hate to question what might be next. > God Bless all. > Little > > > LINDA > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo!
