Guest guest Posted February 1, 2008 Report Share Posted February 1, 2008 Got a call from my mother last nite and she informed me she had broken her leg. My father is in no better shape he has a ruptured disc in his back which he is going to be having surgery on this month. My mother has been sick all day from the pain meds the doc gave her. Not sure if it is the vicoden she was given or the 800 mgs. of Ibuprofen I was over there most of the afternoon early evening. My family could use any prayers anyone can offer at this time. She can also cut the meds in half and take it in half the time. Also if the pain is too high and she waits to long for the meds, the pain can make you throw up as well. Good Luck! They are both going through some rough times and I wish them both the best. Please try to not let this get to you too much or you will be in just as much pain also.
