Guest guest
Hi Marla and all my Peeps, If it makes you feel any better, I feel like crap too. The storms gave me such a flare which even the Lyrica didn't touch and I have been doing so well on the Lyrica. Like you said...headache and whole body pain and fatigue from hell. My hair hurts! But I managed a little work on the computer for my hubby this morning even though I could hardly see through my little squinty eyelids. Too tired and full of pain to eat much. I just took a nice hot soak in the tub and it helped quite a bit with the pains but they are still there to a slightly lesser degree. I had my Lyrica and Tramadol and hope to ward off the whole body burning that I get at night. I have to get good sleep tonight because I have to go to my cousin's funeral Saturday, Feb 2nd. in the morning. Morning! Morning s**ks. Just got a new book called New Hope for Fibromyalgia and it has some really good information in it for coping with this miserable syndrome. I am trying out some of the ideas. I can see where what they are saying would help, but the trick is to train yourself to do it. It is basically cognitive behavior therapy and stress avoidance. That is what I am reading about so far. At least they agree and support that it is physical and not mental like so many doctors still believe. Drat their mangy hides. LOL! Well, off to bed. A busy day yesterday, the storms, the shock of my cousin dying, all adding up to one giant flare that I have to shake off. I may be going to the funeral in my bedroom slippers, but I will get there. Hope you all have a painless weekend. Luv to all.
