Guest guest
I'm transcribing an OB/GYN op note which is a laparoscopically-assisted vaginal hysterectomy. The doctor says " I then carried the incisions with the bladder flap up the broad ligaments without difficulty and deflected the bladder off the cervix with an s/l EndoKittner. " I am unable to document the term s/l EndoKittner at mtdesk, Stedmans OB/GYN, Vera, or Tessier. I also tried googling with no luck. Does any one know the proper spelling for this instrument? Thanks in advance. Jan jantranscribes@... " Typing is my life. " " Whoever signs the paycheck makes the rules. "
Guest guest
I couldn't come up with anything with endo-, but I did find Kitner in Stedman's Equipment Book. Kitner blunt dissecting instrument K. blunt dissector K. clamp K dissecting scissors K. goiter forceps K. retractor K. thyroid-packing forceps. Hope this helps a little. Guest guest
I also found Kitner in Stedman's OB/GYN and in Tessier, but on mtdesk.com it's spelled Kittner. My employer maintains that mtdesk is more reliable with their spellings, so now I'm more confused than ever. I think I'll just flag it and send it as Endo-Kittner. Thanks for looking Jan jantranscribes@... " Typing is my life. " " Whoever signs the paycheck makes the rules.
