OT: Owls and raptors/was Re: Monday night rant

Now neat! The dog was protective of the owl?

A few minutes ago I saw a red-tailed hawk fly up to the tree in the

neighbor's yard, a few dozen feet from where I was sitting. I ran

out to see but he took off. The squirrels, needless to say, were

nowhere to be seen. :)
