You just have to keep hunting for a good quality doc who will work with you to treat your pain. Some of us are able to at least get tramadol for pain which is non-narcotic. In the meantime, you can try adding Tylenol along with the ibuprofen. Sometimes you get more relief that way. Take care. Jeanne in WI >I was diagnosed with CFS in 1988.
