Guest guest
Dear Deb, I have 42 signatures ! My son's favorite number. ANyone else want to share how many they have? Let's get a little competition going here! We all win in the end if we raise enough to get that research going! Dave is waiting in the wings to find us the right research project when we are ready to fund it. If we share how many signatures we have, let's also help each other by sharing how we are getting them. Can we grow this list? 1] Deb took hers to her spinning class. 2] I took mine to my Dentist. [after two crowns, he owed me!] 3] my email with the picture of the shirt brought in over $400 and spread to people I didn't know! Help us grow this list. Working together to beat PSC Lee mother of Bill 23 UC/PSC 06/04 PE 02/05 septic 04/05 Colectomy/ j-pouch 06/05 and just off his blood thinners and directing the next high school play. > I have to share again how much fun this is. I just filled up my first > sheet with signatures! 40 signatures and on to the next page. I > brought it up at a Spinning class and received widespread support. > They are going to put in on a hangar at the next class on Monday and > solicit even more signatures. Just think, at only $10 per signature, > that would be $400. And people are far more generous than that! I > tell them I would be happy with any contribution - $1, $10 or $10,000. > I haven't received any $10,000 donations yet but it doesn't hurt to > ask!! > > Deb(Mom of Sam, 11 - almost 12 and looking every bit of it!, dx PSC > 8/04, asymptomatic) > > >
Guest guest
Deb and Lee, This is the other Deb - and to think I was happy with my 3 signatures - of course, I just started today. My Mom has promised me a 4th, and I'll be sending an email, too. Great job you two! Lee- I'm guessing that it has to do with sports, but why is 42 your son's favorite #? Keep up the great work! Deb in VA PSC 1998, UC 1999, Listed Ltx 2001, LDLTX 5/19/2005, Partial Portal Vein Thrombosis 7/20/2005, 9 PTCs with drain placements/ replacements since 9/2005, Sinus surgery 1/19/2006 and 2/7/2006, did labs this morning and now know why I don't go on Saturdays - waiting two days for the results will be awful! Otherwise, doing okay - helped unpack several boxes this afternoon at my brother's house (they were moving into a new place today). > > Dear Deb, > I have 42 signatures ! Guest guest
Deb, Ever read " The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy " ? That's why his favorite number is 42. Has been ever since he read that book in junior high. I'm glad you have your first signatures. Way to go! I hope you are as lucky with the email as I was. SInce I was signing for the people who responded to my email, I placed their signatures in a design on my shirt. You will see it at the conference. The best news in your email is that you were helping your brother unpack boxes! Such a normal thing to do.
