Guest guest
I have never had such a disorganized birthday party before, I think I was wrapping the presents as the kids were eating dinner *sigh* But I didn't care, we enjoyed ourselves :-) s sister decided to just " drop by with the gift " , dh's neice and another sister didn't even show up and another friend only sent one of her kids over instead of both so we were short some guests, more food and cake for us I guess. We were expecting a blizzard on Sat so my girlfriend was prepared to spend the night with her kids but it never materialized so she drove home and we only had two kids sleep over. They were all up until almost midnight. Arran got a lot of Star Wars stuff but NO duplicates! He had a lot of fun, we had mini pizzas made with english muffins for supper and chocolate cake and ice cream. I only made one cake for the party, I had a feeling not many people would show up, I made a Star Wars cake and didn't bother with the Blues Clues one, Keely didn't seem to care. The kids played with toys and on the computer all night. Keely and her friend Mellisa got along great, except for the tug-of-war over the baby doll incident lol Sunday morning made pancakes for breakfast and then in the afternoon I drove Arran, Keely and Arran's friend Callum to a Christmas party outside of the city for an hour where Callum's mom (my friend Dana) was with her daughter Mellisa. She asked us over to her house for supper and then we stayed the night because the weather turned bad. The kids were all up until midnight again and they were REALLY cranky today, Callum had a meltdown over Playstation as we were leaving lol The weather was a lot better today until we got home and then it started snowing again. I got home to a weekends worth of dishes to hand wash in our single sink *sigh* was " resting " from his trip while we were gone...... Arran just finished making a " pod racer " out of lego, he did a really good job! I am tired and have to make supper now. is bringing our car into Canadain Tire to get the provincial safety check done so we can register it in Alberta. It will probably be January before we can afford to insure it but it was nice having it for a few days. I still have no idea what we are doing for the holidays, I think we are going to MIL's for Boxing Day instead of Christmas dinner :-) I think this makes her mad :-) That of course makes me happy ;-) I read all the emails, I just didn't have time to respond to most of them. I loved all the pictures and updates! Michele, mom of Arran 12-27-93 & Keely 12-5-97 #3 EDD 3-13-00 It's a Boy!
