PSC Complications

Hi Everyone:

I really don't post often but I do try and read as many as I can. I have been

impressed with the amount of knowledge that is available here. I now hope to

put that knowledge to work! :0)

I was told about my PSC in 2001 but other than the complications of Crohn's I

really have not had problems. That being said - the last few months I have had

issues with dizziness that hits out of nowhere, nausea that comes out of nowhere

after eating and numbness tingling in my hands and feet (mostly my left foot).

I did go to my family doctor and we did the MRI and it showed any problems. He

suggested that I go to a neurologist which I didn't want to do.

Recently, I heard somewhere that diabetes is a complication that is a sign of

early liver failure. Now, I don't remember where I heard that so I could have

dreamed it but after spending most of the day feeling like the toes of my left

foot are on top of a pen cushion, I have decided to bite the bullet and ask.

Have any of you had this problem and if so what caused it? Thanks.
