Guest guest
hello everyone, i only have a few mintues but i just wanted to say that this one doctor's negative comments are just that - one doctor's negative comments. we all know what we go through with having this condition, and it is thanks to support groups like this one that has returned to us some much needed self-confidence. and after the conventional medical field's treatment of rosacea sufferers, it is not really that surprising that a doctor seems yet again unable to understand what we are experiencing. we always knew that. yes, i think we need to get whatever we are going through in perspective, as with all the things we face in life. but even with such a perspective, it is hard sometimes to endure yet another day of low self-esteem, stares from people walking past, and avoiding public areas that will just make you rocket downwards. i think this support group is wonderful in giving us a place to vent our opinions, pain and fears freely without judgement....in fact, the usual response is one of overwhelming enthusiasm, interest and support from a group of people who understand exactly what having rosacea can feel like. and in a world where too often we can feel isolated and desperate, this is a beautiful thing. thank you, all of you, for being there for every single one of us. poppyxx __________________________________________________
