Guest guest
Having 2 acres to walk I walked the perimeter 1x & that was my start. I've heard also that walking is best because it is load bearing exercise. I'll put this to the test daily I hope. I haven't reset my e-mail sttings yest so I believe the serenity prayer will follow. GOD grant me the serenityto accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I canand the wisdom to know the difference. It's great cardio-vascular exercise too. And a walk around 2 acres! I'm all proud of myself for being able to walk around the block! Even if you can't do the whole 2 acres, something is better than nothing. Good luck with this! Z, still hoping for progress on getting his own place. Guest guest
Walking always makes me feel better! It takes my pain down to a very low level. I discovered this one year when hubby and I walked the mall, then sat down to enjoy a movie. I realized " wow, I feel pretty good! " but after the movie I was stiff again. Guest guest
Walking makes me feel better, also. We have a small yard so walk around a block nearby. It's about 0.4 miles for that one. My husband and I walk around that block after supper almost every night. A longer walk for us is walk we call a park walk. We walk down to a little park and across it and come up the other side home. It's about 1.1 miles. Today will do the park walk since I am too tired to go to the gym for my light cardio workout.
