Guest guest
Oh my goodness. I can't believe someone wouldn't apologize after ramming you with their cart! How rude. Are you experiencing dizziness at night from the Lyrica? I hope that passes for you as your body becomes more used to the drug. Thanks for checking in. Jeanne in WI > Back for a moment. Fortunately a footstool was there and broke my fall. Then the other day, I was in the grocery and a man ran his cart into my hip full force. I think I could have picked him up and hung him on a nail I was so peeved. I did bitch him out because he never even said " excuse me " or " sorry " . My hubby, who was twice his size, offered to smack him. LOL! Love my hubby! So, days are pretty darn good, nights are so-so, depending. > > Wishing all of you better days and nights. > > Ruthie in NJ
Guest guest
I don't think the Lyrica makes me dizzy, but I do think it affects my balance a bit. When I am half asleep, I am not so able to stay upright. So that is probably why I fell. I fell up the stairs this afternoon too. I am accommodating this by changing the way I stand and walk. I feel so good otherwise on the Lyrica, that I will keep on with it and hope that this side effect wears off with time. I have no more brain fog, I am not so sleepy, I have more energy, I am more positive and I can think and plan and actually get something done in a day. Yesterday I cleaned two bathrooms and did a load of laundry and ran errands for my friend who was in a car accident and totaled her car. I also have a bigger appetite which is NOT so good either. So I am following South Beach Diet to try to get back to normal again. Tonight I had a glorious shrimp stir-fry that was divine. My own recipe. I need to get the weight off that I put on while moping around pre Lyrica. Gosh I am glad to have gotten off the rest of my meds. I feel human again. Ruthie > > Oh my goodness. Guest guest
try neurally mediated hypotension, a lot of the meds will cause a drop in BP and most FM patients have low BP to begin with so any drop is going to cause a reaction. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe 4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone.
