if you know you have a seizure disorder, do NOT go to cosmic bowling night!

i was at the bowling alley tonight and i look over and this guy is having a

MASSIVE seizure and i can see that his friends are obviously clueless. i got

mike's attention and sent him over there to help the guy cause his wife has

grand mal epilepsy, so i knew he had lots of experience. so he managed to get

the guy ok again and when he came back over to me, i asked him if the guy knew

he had epilepsy before he came there that night and he said yeah :-/

Epilepsy has such a stigma that many people try to hide it and they

don't bother to tell their friends. They're also afraid of losing

friends. Which is a legitimate fear. Many people can't handle other

people's medical issues.

Bright, flashing lights, computer games, video games, can all trigger

seizures. Sometimes even in people who didn't know they were at risk.
