Guest guest
Teeth breaking? How odd,I just had that happen a couple nights ago.I thought the filling just fell out. Also I had rheumatic fever as a child so they said my teeth would not be that good. Guest guest
I used to ask my dad why I was the only one in the family that got bad teeth. He, of course, couldn't answer and I never knew there was a connection to fibro until I joined this group. No one in my family has fibro either that I know. My teeth used to thin out and then break off. I now have dentures on top and a partial on the bottom. I started having problems with my teeth when I was in my early 20's. I wasn't dxd with fibro till 4 yrs ago. After reading some of the posts here, I realize that I may have had this as a child, just not bad enough to dx. My family use to call me a hypocondriac as a child. I hope the problems you are having with your teeth gets better D. in CA > > thank you all for posting on that subject it was nice to learn what/why > and that I'm not the only one....and how about that teeth " breaking > off " thing? how many of you have experienced that? for Ted this turned > out to be lymphoma and lukemia, for me, just fibro and weakness and > deficiencies caused by some of the meds related to my previous brain > tumor. anyone experiencing that in particular...breakage or falling out > really should have a cancer screening, after dental screening of > course. for me it was the meds after, but for ted it was the cancer > itself. we each have dentures now..I am only 32, and have the full > upper plate and lower partial, soon to be full lower plate. > not out to scare anyone, just shareing info/experience. >
