Re: Bad weather moving in.... it has taken me over

Stay safe! We just had those same storms here south of Dallas, they

blew through fast with hail, high winds, thunder and lightning.

I feel really good this week, not sure what I did 'right' or if it's

just luck. I'll take it though!

I did start my exercise routine again. Maybe that's it.

Yep - it's a huge storm system that runs from TX up into WI. Severe storms

in the warmer states and then us cold folks are getting dumped on. I hope

we all come through it OK.

I really bet you could. Maybe they should keep you on call. It has been either

raining or snowing and windy here for days and I am so tired of it. Tomorrow it

is supposed to rain again, even more than today. I did my errands today so I

can stay in tomorrow. I'm so sorry that you hurt so badly. I marvel at all

that you can do.

You stay safe and warm up there where you're getting dumped on. When you get it

that means it's usually sweeping this way soon. I've had about enough, but then

I like the snow better than this constant rain. I want sunshine.

Thought we would get rain today but most of the clouds have blown

off. Wind is very hectic here though. So far our temp hasn't dropped.

Feel worse than usual also.

I'm sorry you are feeling worse that usual. I hope whatever is bringing it on

eases up soon. Does the weather affect how you feel?

Thanks Marti, I am worried about the storms. They are supposed to hit here

around 2 am. I hate when they hit that time of night because its dark and you

cant see whats going on in the sky. My hips and legs and feet are killing me!!!

The weather is nuts around here. We have had high winds. Our fence has a couple

sections coming apart, so hubby has to fix when he gets home. Lots of trash and

cans in the streets too since it was trash day. Ev1 stay safe warm and cozy.

Thanks Marti. Well, I guess actually most of the really bad weather moved

around us. But somehow I could feel it I think. LOL. The sky was very

overcast all day and it looked like it would rain. I am a little better this

evening.

Whole bunches of people are reporting flares...

I've had a couple of very busy days. I'm putting in a French drain

on the side of my house where it's really soggy, and making a

stepping-stone path. Understand, my " excavation " is being done

pretty much a tablespoon at a time. ;D ;D It's pretty pathetic - a

normal person could have done this task on a Saturday afternoon after

a full week of work. But I persevered and now the drain is done. I

still have a lot of work to do - I have to shave off some more earth

and make sure the pathway is the right width, then put down the sand

and stuff and the stone. I've been pushing - worked several hours

yesterday, as opposed to my usual 2 hours on good days. But it's not

done yet. And it's going to rain today, which will cause the dirt

that I carefully raked around yesterday to wash back down onto the

pathway and become MUD. :::: sigh :::: I'm also very tired, my arms

have gone numb, and I'm in a flare which I've been trying to deny

since yesterday afternoon. I took 1/2 valium before bed, but woke up

at 4 am (it only works for 4 hours) and I think, especially with the

rain and thunderstorms moving in today, that I need to take a day off

and rest if I don't want to land in bed.

It'll be interesting to see if the drain works: if the rain water

actually drains into the drain instead of just sitting there. If it

doesn't, I'm going to be *very* upset.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and cooler. I guess I'll just

shovel the mud out tomorrow. ;D

Oh well, back to bed for me. The work will be there tomorrow.

Today, I shall wallow in Jane Austen. ;D

Z (what, I think I've suddenly become a civil

engineer??!? ;D ;D)
