Hi Janie:

Thanks for the clarification. I had just passed along some info I remember

hearing since the other person made a connection his allergies were worse

when he ate a banana. Reminded me of the show I had watched and I couldnt

remember if it was only with latex that bananas caused problems. So I

thought perhaps there was a connection. Thats good to know though cause I

love bananas and I have never noticed any reaction myself. I just thought it

was worth mentioning to others who have seemed to make a connection, just in

case. Sorry, folks didnt mean to make it sound like I was an authority on

the subject.

Bananas don't bother my rosacea, but I can't wear latex gloves

because they make my hands itch like crazy. For some of us, healthy

foods can trigger a rosacea flare and marginally nutritious ones

don't. I don't think I have food allergies even. They develop in

early childhood and I could eat all the stuff that bothers me now

with no problem. There's something else to the food flares other

than allergies, I think.

Just my 2 cents.
