Guest guest
Speaking of guaifenesin (I can never spell that right!).... I've been taking one mucinex a day for a long while now. Mostly for sinuses, but also for fibro. I'll go through a phase now and then when I take two a day for an extended period of time and feel better. But on any normal day, I take a mucinex in the morning along with my allergy pill, for sinus relief. I think it's been every day for about a year and a half now. Is it bad to take those long term? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance, Melody Jeanne and Dave wrote: > Just curious if this is Dr. St Amand? I've got 3 of his books. Guest guest
As far as I know, it is absolutely safe to continue this med for as long as needed/wanted. That's one of the doc's " selling points " . Jeanne in WI > Speaking of guaifenesin (I can never spell that right!).... > I've been taking one mucinex a day for a long while now. Guest guest
I'm sure it's safe, but after trying the guaifenesin protocol for a long time, I started to become very sick from it. I did it back in the late 1990's. Now if I even take one Musinex I get sick. I am sensitive to a lot of medications though.
