Guest guest
***Note from Co-owner: Rheumatism used to be known as what we now called osteoarthritis but based on an article I just read (and " if " the scientists are ever shown to be right that means the article would be wrong) they used fibromyalgia as an example of generalized rheumatism. *** someone here mentioned that fibromyalgia is the new word for what our grandparents called rheumatism. i looked it up on wikipedia, and lo and behold, that turns out to be the case. that being so, perhaps looking for causes in such things as mercury and fluoride or even radio waves from all those cell phone towers (my own personal favorite theory) might not be applicable. since our grandparents lead a much purer life in terms of clean air, exercise and good food, what was *their* reason for getting it? i remember granny clampett on _the beverly hillbillies_ always taking a few nips of her 'rheumatiz medicine', and am beginning to wonder if that might not be as effective as any of our expensive medications. nin, getting sick on meloxicam and sulfasalazine
