, I do hope that I did not offend you when I sent the email about

the way you spell ArkanSAW! When I first noticed that spelling, I

was surprised and amazed to see that someone had really written the

name of the state in the manner in which the natives pronounce it! I

once corrected a lady in NW Pennsylvania who portrayed Mother

Bickerdik (sp)in Civil War reenactments, as the woman who spent so

much time working in the hospital at Karo during the Civil War ---

she used the word most if, not all of us use to pronoucne the name of

the city in Egypt, Cairo. I could add a few more --- New Madrid, MO.

for example.
