Hello From Texas

Hi My name is Janet , I live in the deep end of East Texas in the lake areas

out in the boonies. Tis a blessing to find this group!! I am 46 , Married to

my wonderful hubby Mack of 15 years now .We have no children , but we have

five furbabies, three dogs and two cats.Not to forget the nature animals we

have , birds , deers , possums, and skunks . We are out in the middle of no

where which is nice . I am deaf and reads lips and I communicate just like

you, its a blessing to say you would not know I was deaf, unless you was

talking to me behind my back that's where the discovery is made LOL .

I love life , I love the Lord he is so Mysterious and I'm just so happy

to know HIM .

I was diagnosed over two years ago ,The Rheamatologist I had , I was only

able to see her once a year and if anything comes up , I have to wait till

my appt that was scheduled to see her and ONLY SEE HER one time a year is

all she allows . So Now I'm being referred to a new Dr. That specializes in

Fibromyalgia, by my pain mangagment Dr. (thank you lord ) What gets me so

lost is I never know if this or that is fibro or what .I forget so much and

it near wrecked my marriage ,all is okay now . My family Dr. Explained to us

about brain fog , at first I Laughed because of the name ,and thought he was

joking. .From there hubby took over the finances and paying bills . I have

post its everywhere and even got a uhh booky thing with calendars and stuff

Its so hard to know weather its fibro or diabetics. Just so over whelming .

I love doing things and meeting people . When I do get out everyone is like

where you been hiding LOL . I'm outgoing person, I do not judge no one .I'm

at the present time having to stay OFF my feet , keep it elevated and trying

to get ready for our nephews wedding that is upcomeing in march the first.

Trying to make my ball gown to wear and (sighs ) how do you do that when you

cant put your feet down LOL . I do look forward to meet each one of you. I'm

so thankful To God for leading me to this group.I'm a good listener so

anyone needing to talk to me too come lean on me .

Howdy from central Texas!

Welcome to the group. Like you I am happily married but no children

either. Did have 3 furbabies but two died late last year. Put bird

sead out in the yard for my remaining cat. Wish I lived in an area

like yours for there is more animals. You need to meet Debra V who

lives in Lufkin. There are several more Texans here.

Welcome Janet Lynn, nice to meet you, I haven't been here but a month

or so. I just usually sit back and read the post, saying to myself, that

sounds

like me. But this group will give lots of support and advice.

Right now I live in North Carolina on the beach which I should love, but I

had

lived in West Tn (where one of the tornados hit) most of my life and I am so

homesick. Maybe this will pass soon, if not I am going back!!
