Guest guest
Maureen, Have you tried Nizoral Shampoo for your itchy scalp? Many here have used it successfully. I have also used it but realized I never had much of a seb derm problem to begin with...I just thought it would help with the facial cea. Good Luck, Beth
Guest guest
Hi to All, I am loving all the emails and advice concerning this confounding blotchy, red, burning rosacea skin of mine. While trying measures to help face, my scalp has kicked in with sympathetic itching! Regular shampoo like Selsun Blue doesn't seem to help. There is no scaling, or flaking, just itching. I guess this fair sensitive skin is also what my scalp is like. It also hates the sun, and heat. Does anyone else have a similiar scalp problem, and any solutions? Also in checking out sites with info has anyone tried any products from Dr.Grekin at acneworld.com? Thank you everyone, Maureen

I think anything strong irritates my scalp. I've found some relief by using J. R. Ligget's shampoo (it comes in bar form like soap). It's mainly oilive oil, and it's amazing that olive oil can clean your hair, but it does. And, I've been using a conditioner without alcohol ('s Hemp Oil Conditioner). Both of these products seem to help, altough I still get a little bit of itching now and then. It seems to happen briefly when there is a sudden temperature and humidity change, as in going from inside to outside. Susie Q
