Guest guest
Tigger, Not sure how many days you are on the prednisone but I will say this as a long-time user for my asthma. When you are on that, you are susceptible to any and all infections. It may help you as far as the pain, etc. because it's a steroid, but you definitely want to watch your exposure to others, especially those who are sick, while you are taking it, because unfortunately, you will catch it and that will defeat the purpose! That's why I'm kind of " home " for 3 weeks - I'm on a reduction dose of prednisone to wean me off from what I was on in the hospital. I know there's a giant sign on my head that says " all germs welcome, no need to apply " ....lol... Just be careful, take it easy. I found that if I put my heating pad where it hurts and pull my snuggly blankie over me, I end up with a kitty on my lap...lol....but also the warmth I need to rewarm. ((((hugs)))) Darlene > > > I promise I won't give up.
