Ruthie,

I get GREAT results from alcohol!! Couple of frozen margaritas and my

pain levels are down to around a 4. Three margaritas and I can actually

get out and dance for a while that night.. Luckily there is no side

effect the next day either except for maybe just a little soreness but

the pain levels are definately decreased.

,

DH husband is an internet abbreviation that people use for either " dear

husband " or " damn husband " depending on how they are feeling about him

at that particular time.

I usually only have wine on holidays or if I'm feeling very anxious. It

does help to calm me down. You're right, Ruthie, that the euphoria or pain

relief or whatever is only a temporary fix. At least you were able to get

through the dinner out with your hubby. I'm sure he appreciated it.

Take care.

Tonight he wanted to go out again so I dragged my tired aching body through

the getting primped up process and out we went. A glass and a half of red

wine later and I was having a lot less pain and fatigue.

We did have a nice time at dinner and it was great to get out for

some fun. I am still feeling pretty good in spite of all of the high

winds and cold. I upped my amytriptilline one more pill and that

with the Lyrica is working well. I had stopped the " A " and that was

a bad thing to do. I am much better back on it. Fatique is not fun.

I can sit down to read a magazine and fall dead asleep in the middle

of the afternoon. TV does the same thing. Better than a sleeping

pill. But then I wake up at two in the morning and try to go to

sleep in bed and lie there for several hours wide awake. GRRR!!!. Oh

well, I am still on the right side of the grass, so that is

something.
