Just read your story, and What the H-LL is the matter with people?! I

have worked in the healthfield all my life, and remember waaay back at the

begining in the 70's when we where taught Not to say the word Cancer to anyone

that had it, not to talk about it with them if they brought it up etc. But in

today's world that has all changed, and for those who run away from a person who

is sick, or has no compassion, excuse being they may get it, they don't know

what to say, or any other EXCUSE, and it makes me mad that they can't put there

own self absorbance aside, cough it up and just be there a bit more for those

who are sick. I can't belive you had to go through what u did with co workers

being uncaring and acting like what you were dealing with was no big deal. I

also am glad u are not at the job any longer and hopefully will have more

positive people around you this time. I say you certainly are strong way

stronger then me, and wish I lived near you to have the

honer in meeting you that you are trudging along and have to now do Chemo, and

show a up positive attitude. I really hope the best and keep yourself

surrounded by happy positive caring people tell the others to hit the road.

Sharon - I so agree with everything you've said. Marti is such a special

lady and it comes out in her posts how much she cares about others. I want

to beam myself to CT to give her a hug. And with regards to discusiing her

cancer, or Debbie J's cancer, or anybody's other illnesses, this is OK to do

here on this list, I believe. Everything we go through from the mundane

everyday things to the major health crises like cancer or surgeries or

whatever, they all affect how we feel with our FM. So it all relates.

There's not much that's really considered off topic, in my opinion. I'm

glad you are part of this FaMily, Sharon.
