Hey ,

I have been diagnosed with meneries diasese. I had to

go to the ENT specialist for diagnosis.

I was and still do, have the most horrible dizzy

spells that leave me drained after one. ringing in the

ears, and light headedness and nausea.

apparently it happens to people alot with fibro and

IBS or crohns patients.

It causes imblance and equlibrimin(sp) and sometimes

fluid build up. I was given Laisx. but had to stop

taking that because of my blood pressure meds.

Most of the time I have to lay down and wait them

out.

I read something on one of the messages that I get online from

several doctors who said in the intro that the older one gets, they

have found that the older a person is the possiblity of having dizzy

spells. But when I opened the rest of the site, there was not much

more info other than to do some of the balance exercises -- i.e.,

balance on one for so many minutes or seconds and then the other. I

know they are some of the things that I was doing when I went to

physical therapy.
